Campervan home on wheels iveco conversion motorhome race van 12t lorry project
Please read the full listing. 12ton Iveco Ford horsebox with a Oakley conversion body, light aluminum panels over a box section steel frame. 6 pot turbo engine that will go around the world. Any kind of description i may give is my interpretation so may differ and i urge anyone intrested to come and view. I brought the lorry as i wanted to make a tiny home on wheels, be able stand up and move around like a bungalow on wheels, a double bedroom above the cab for my girls, kitchen in the middle with forward facing seats and fixed table, behind a large bathroom/shower wet room and the stairs to rear kingsize bedroom for the misses and me with loads of headroom and make some shelves/storage for clothing. So out come the tools and remove everthing (6 months work), me and the girls bonding like best friends, then rubbing down, painting, sealing, more painting then full celox insulation just as the celox factory went up in smoke in germany, so i paid a lot more than usual. New 19mm structural plywood flooring and 9mm structural plywood for the walls covering 25mm celox, then trimmed in nice soft gray trim. The Kitchen was gutted and replaced. A brand new full size freestanding 600mm wide double oven with hob lpg cooker , extractor fan above and glass splash back and worktops with nice big sink and mixer tap. New 240v undercover fridge / freezer. A sony media sound system (using apple tv and firestick to a mifi box not included) with a technomate hdmi box splits the sigal to to all the Tv’s including a 40 tv fitted to what was the tack room, pritty cool watching MotoGp and having a cold beer. At the moment there is a 100w solar panel on the roof, but this is set up to run upto 40amps into the Epeaver mppt controller then into two batterys to run the pure cotec inverter, as it stands the lorry can run all day powered from the sun, The next step would of been 4 x 220agm batterys when all finished. I then started on the 12v electrics, powering Led lights, remote control awning lights, remote control rear ramp, stair lights, garage usb sockets for charging drones, phones and cameras, most of the 240v sockets all have usb charging. Just incase there is no sun a brand new genarator has been fitted in a newly constructed lower outside box. On the other side i have started on the plumbing with Hep pipe, a new shurflow pump and 3 very large filters, connect the kitchen sink waste and that is as far as ive got. There is no way i can explain everything so i have made two youtube videos. 2nd year to date. I would like people to come and view Lorrie the Lorry and watch my video’s on youtube ” Project Camper”. No mot as i wanted to register it a camper/motorhome with dlva or worst case down grade to 7.5ton so it can be driven on a nornal car licence with the entitlement. Lorrie is 27ft long. 11 1/2 ft high. I have a few motorbikes and the Garage in the rear can hold 2/3 bikes or a quad bike. I have spent nearly 3 years making Lorrie and has been a real learning curve making/solving to the of best of my ability. Hand made table and wine rack from pallet wood with biscut cut joints. Making of the step to fold out and fold in. Outside TV for chilling nights. Please remember that this is a project, but if you have the place to store him then you can put your own mark on him, finish the bathroom and plumbing and comply with dvla rules for motorhome status, like a winnebago lol. I move Lorrie up and down the road when the road allows (neighbors go shopping) or i need to get a motorbike out of my garage I got Lorrie delivered to me on the back of a massive truck and he still runs on the deisel in the tank so dose smell a bit and dose smoke like a ford transit , needs fresh fuel and a bit of a run, gearbox linkage it stiff but all gears are fine and no cruching, just stuff from lack of use. Lorrie if not a new truck and will need a bit of welding (cosmetic) on the drivers door shut and possable cab hinge area, but as he is a fixed cab i cant be sure if thats a mot requirement. I was just going to do as much as i could, satisfy dvla , get a mot and run to the northern lights, or put him on a plot as a hoilday home. But as i said the west sussex council have now put a end to that and having made the decision to sell as not to cause and more grief with the neighbors. Thanks for looking and please watch the above youtube video links. Any questions and i will try my best to awnser. Lorrie is on my drive in Littlehampton West Sussex England. Sorry cant post him as he wont fit in a jiffy bag. Just think of the fun, family times or just parked up on a farm/field, ramp down sitting watching the sun going down with a cold beer or pink gin / morgan spice , if your single then Terrie is a cheep home if you can put him on farm or work in green houses etc. The item “Campervan home on wheels iveco conversion motorhome race van 12t lorry project” is in sale since Monday, July 20, 2020.
