The interior is simple and has blank walls which means you could easily add shelves, racks or other storage systems if required (the surf board straps are removable). It is complete, but also a blank canvass. A window could also easily be fitted on the sliding door. This van is just under 180cm in height which I found to be very convenient for’chuck your bags in and go travel’ heres why. You can get under all the direct beach access barriers that are all around the beaches in Europe. The alternative to this is being further out, or in an’Aire’ (France) which can be just a car park, or in a campsite which have to pay for and has its own + or – points, but in general you get a worse view from out of the van doors if you’re further away. You can get in almost all city centre underground, shopping centre and airport carparks. Which is great for not having to plan ahead too much and turns this camper into a practical day-to-day year round vehicle, which you can loose if you have a higher topped van. It is smaller and you can’t stand up, but I never found this an issue as I typically just sleep or sit in the van. If it rains and I’m with friends we just slide the bed to a single and it becomes a sofa large enough to sit properly and comfortably. Not being able to stand up inside whilst cooking? I always cook outside or on the back table to avoid filling the van with a food smell which happens in any van if you cook inside. But there is ample space to prepare and cook inside if you wish. The van was designed to be as’stealth’ as possible. This was an idea I saw on youtube, and was actually very useful. I was able to park and sleep in city centres and along a beaches where any vehicle over 190cm or looks like camper would have been asked to moved along or towed. I’ve never had a problem with storage as there is a large space under the bed and numerous shelves and 2 decent sized cupboards. The projector is a fun addition and you can use it inside or project it on the outside of the van. The projector has a built in battery that chargers off the solar and lasts for around 2 movies. This van also has plenty of power and speed, so has no trouble going up mountain roads, overtaking or going somewhere fast. The van and engine are solid, its always started first time and I have never had an issue with it, and do not anticipate any work being needed to be done for long time.
