2.3ltr petrol engine, Manual 4 speed gearbox.. Bought by me just over a year ago to use on a little trip around the coastline of the UK mainland. I was forced to stop after about 1000 mls by virus restrictions…. The camper performed brilliantly throughout, although the clutch release bearing started to whine a little bit… I have fitted a rear facing camera to act as a rear mirror, (massive improvement on the old mirror).. The camper is fitted with air bags on the rear axle… These are an aid to stability in poor weather and do not replace the suspension which is still in place… Inside is in original trim and equipment from 1978… There is a shower room/toilet. Twin burner hob/grill with an oven… Original fridge and gas fire also, but I have only used the fridge on 240v via the electric hook up…… The main seats and table convert to a double bed, and there is a smaller bed area in the Luton section…. This is a dual purpose vehicle in so much as it is accepted in classic car shows as genuine classic vehicle, and also it is a lovely camper for weekends and holidays…. Viewing is advised, And you should appreciate that this vehicle is 43 years old and DOES NOT perform like a modern camper….. I never use motorways because constant high speed are not recommended by me for a 43 year old engine/gearbox….. I do all my trips via “A” roads at speeds not exceeding 50 MPH…… Please note that, the cab has some light surface rust, but no serious corrosion, and the chassis / underneath is in very good condition….. The main body has various dings and marks due to branches or bushes but none have punctured the skin of the living section…… Deposit to be paid on sale agreement, Balance by cash or bank transfer before release….
