Ford Transit Luton Camper Van Conversion Off Grid Campervan Motorhome 4 berth. Fabulous cottage on wheels. Sleep x4 people with ease. Double bed up top and Sofa pulls out into double bed. Lots of storage and cupboard space. Let my try and go through everything. Excellent 2.4 duratorque engine. New Propshaft bearings and auxiliary belt. Rear view camera on dash. Painted nato green and matt black. 3.5 ton so can be driven on normal car licence. Took to a weigh bridge full with living gear, food, all tools and tanks full and weighed 3.3 ton. Fully insulated the celotex plus it has a vapour barrier. 2x 110 amp AMG batteries. Voltage sensitive split relay charger. Designer lights on dimmers and chrome switches. 12 litre lpg instant water heater with 120 litre water tank. 19kg flo gas bottle in locker outside. Diesel heater outside (silent inside) integrated to blow through vent on bottom of oven. Outside porch area with large LED floodlight and switch. Front door with port hole and Yale locks. Roof vent with blackout blind and fly screen, insulated with fibreglass so leak free for life. Rolling blackout blinds with heat reflective on windows. Sony blutooth/cd player connected to x2 Bose speakers. Full sized Oven, Grill and x4 Hobs. Full size sink with hot and cold running water from hand made brushed copper taps. Tankless constant pressure water pump. Solid Oak work top with fresh coat of teak oil. White splash back tiles. X3 large draws, large cupboard under sink and x2 large cupboards above the worktop. Large Electrolux fridge with freezer. Lots of drawer and cupboard space, all doors secured with 20lb slam locks. Large sofa area with a lot of storage underneath. Sofa turns into the 2nd double bed. Reading light above sofa. Large shabby wardrobe area with draw, hanging rail and shelf space. Shower room with brand new Thetford toilet. Shower floor is freshly fibre glassed. Shower has on/off handle and is very powerful, can preset heat on large lpg heater. Vinyl strip flooring, waterproof, heatproof and warm to walk on. Viewing / collection Brockenhurst, Hampshire. See YouTube vid here. 86,221 miles (vehicle has travelled 909 miles since it was converted). Will be supplied with full MOT. Recently had full service and check over. New steering rack, Wishbones, Bushes and Rear Discs and Pads. Rear view camera and new 9 stereo to display image. 2 fully opening windows plus 2 sky lights, one with fan. New side door installed for easy entry, with additional locks and built in steps. 260 amp hour battery bank. 300w solar with mppt charger. Split charger from starter. Batter monitor and display. Van has been used for a weekend off grid with TV on for a good few hours a day, charging phones and running fridge without dropping below 90%. Full double bed. L shaped Corner sofa which turns into additional double bed. 12v TV in hidden storage. TV electronically rises out of the cabinet. 12v compressor fridge with Bluetooth functionality. 12v water system with 75litre fresh and waste water container hung under body. LPG instant hot water boiler. Diesel heater with LCD display and remote control. Separate waterproofed cubicle with chemical toilet with external hatch. Shower not yet installed but can be easily done as water pipes are next to unit. LPG oven, hob and grill, this and all gas work have been tested but no certificate will be supplied. Easy fill gas system installed but not yet in a locker. Plenty of storage under sofa bed and in cupboards. Various 12v quick charge points plus mains sockets installed and wired but have not yet got the electric hook up point externally mounted. Whole van is insulated with a mix of 25/50mm celotex, including the floor. This has only been used on a couple of weekends away and it shows. This inside it just like the pictures, it is spotless. 7 Seater Luton DOUBLE CAB – EXTREMELY RARE! Camper Van / Motor-home Conversion (Part Way Done). I really love this van, but sadly I have to let her go, due to a family break-up. An amazing project with much of the hard work done for you. Make her your own and finish her to your own spec. Long Wheel Base LWB – Double Crew Cab – 7 Seat Belts. Perfect Family Camper in the Making. (3.5 tonne – so you can drive her any licence). All carpentry so far has been done by a professional carpenter. 2 Windows fitted with Blinds / Nets (sometimes the rollers stick a bit). 12v and 240v Electrical Wires laid into walls. Professionally insulated – floor – all walls and roof. Huge Luton for bed Area. Walls lined with Pine Tongue and Groove and Birch Ply. Outside – Waney Edge Larch. (back seat of crew cab can also be used as another bed). Plenty of room for you to finish this to your own high-spec. Recent New Cam Belt fitted and so is good to go for many more miles. (Only 83,000 on the clock). 3 Keys Double Crew Cab. Last MOT was a breeze – (I asked about rust and they said it was in great shape although there is some surface rust to clean her up a bit). A few minor scrapes – including a small repair to the front bumper. One of the doors has a little damage in the corners and that needs attention. Seats in the cab are unfortunately a bit dirty and drivers is torn. Rust wise – she is fairly good – definitely some surface rust to tidy up, but the mechanic told me that structurally she is looking good. To mention : She always starts – but occasionally she doesn’t start first go – This is just due to air in the fuel line – I have a brand new line from Renault – But I have not yet fitted it.
