2010 fiat ducato self build. But thoroughly overhauled around 2 years ago with lots of reciepts… Was always planning long travels in this van so it had to be right, I would jump in & take it absolutely anywhere. 2 x 130amp leisure batteries in rear- charged by solar on the roof & a split charge relay.. Also has a charger fitted on to electric hook up when on a campsite, it doesn’t need it- never runs out of power. Fridge is the crx50. Fridge freezer, the best 12v compressor fridge available and runs constant from the leisure batteries or ehu. Sink is a dometic & has the fitted dual gas hobbs. Gas supplied via an underslung lpg tank which is fillable at fuel stations very cheaply.. A full tank will last for months. A proper electrically flushing thetford cassette toilet fitted which is emptied from outside. Water is fillable from the outside filler cap & is stored in the rear in a 70l tank. Also a 70l waste tank fitted. There is a hot shower fitted on the rear doors – started off as a temporary fitting but we quite liked it so kept it.. Gives a lovely instant hot shower, supplied via underslung gas tank & water tank. Fully fitted diesel night heater- takes diesel from the factory diesel tank- heats the inside up instantly & can be controlled remotely. Single front seats- passenger seat swivels round. Lots of storage in rear & plenty of cupboard space. Bed is at rear of van & measures just over 6ft x 4ft so may not be ideal for the taller people. The rear will fold down to make a longer bed & a bit of a stargazing platform with the rear doors open. We have spent 2 or 3 years all over the country in this van & love it but it’s time to move on. Bad points- there is some paint peel above windscreen.. Common on these vans. It’s a self build so don’t expect a factory finish, although slight surface rust showing in areas of paint. (These vans are galvanised nap don’t really suffer from rot & it is spot on underneath). It’s the 2.3 multijet iveco engine. Replaced Timing belt & water pump. New Throttle body & manifold.
