This sun canopy comes with 2 way connections. It’s got the 6mm piping cord to slide into your awning channel or multi rail; also it comes with a gutter rail and 3 gripper clamps to connect to the side rain gutter of a classic vehicle. This sun canopy does NOT have a sewn-in rubber strip which can clamp/grip onto the rain gutter. After setting up, it provides a very strong connection- when we strength-tested it by pulling the canopy away from the van, the whole van was rocking but the canopy stayed strong. It is also very easy to put on and to take off. One person can set this sun canopy up easily! It measures 240 cm wide along the length of the van and 200 cm deep, distance extended from the van. The fabric that we use for this classic sun canopy is the same specification cotton material as the 1960s Westfalia roof canvas. The colour is the same as the original orange roof canvas. The sun canopy has been manufactured carefully with three brass pole eyelets with strong backings along the front edge. It comes with three height adjustable (188cm to 235cm) upright poles and this allows it to be erected in variety of ways depending on the conditions and the shade needed. Lots of service history and tons of paperwork detailing all of this van’s interesting conversions. 2.5TDi (AJT) Turbo diesel engine, has been re-mapped to 112bph, plenty of low-down grunt which gives a really enjoyable drive. Stunning 19 staggered Radi8 R8B12 cast alloy wheels. Built by Adrian Bird. To a very high specification. Tin Soldier is possibly the most awarded T4 in Europe! Loads of ribbons and rosettes that will stay with the van as part of its history. VWt magazine a number of times. (have copies, will stay with van). Refinished in VOLKSWAGEN CARBON STEEL GREY with custom pink and green pearl/mini flake panels. Lace work and endless line graphics. The custom-made panel was sprayed over real lace. Two weeks work of solid graft went into the central band alone. Custom sport wing mirrors. Purple anodised bolts, fasteners throughout. Front number plate frenched; rear is also recessed, and mounting bolts removed. Bumper moulding filled and smoothed; all bumper outriggers removed and mounted using hidden brackets. Applied the pinstriping that finishes off the van completely. Left hand drive sliding aperture plated over and new swage line formed in steel. Rear passenger-side fog light removed; rear bumper smoothed and colour-coded. Tailgate conversion with rear handle and bottom swage line removed (now solenoid operated); towing eye removed. Reimo slimline units; single burner hob, sink and waste unit. Reimo Variotech 130cm rock n roll bed (wider than usual and re-trimmed in custom endless line design by Dub Shack Interiors). One-off aluminium table has been engraved with the same motif as the rear door. Table movable and removable; stainless steel custom coat-hangers behind both front seats. 110Ah leisure battery; 4 x 12v sockets; blue interior lights. T4 Captains chairs re-trimmed with endless line design. Momo engraved 280 mm steering wheel and billet aluminium boss; custom polished and drilled gear stick; extended gear stick option – standard size or tall and funky! LED buttons on dash, plastic welded and smoothed, before being hydro-dipped with a lilac faux carbon fibre design a theme carried over to the heater vents, door pulls, handle covers and caps that run the length of the interior cupboards; after-market dash infills.
