Thanks for looking at my 407D. I brought it back from Germany in 2016 and converted it into a campervan. It is in fantastic condition, rust free and runs perfectly. It has always sailed through its MOT. The next job that needs doing is re-sealing the underneath and I have had to repair the exhaust pipe. I did a lot of work dampening the sound in the cab very effectively using noise killer products (including engine blanket) under the mats in the cab and in the engine compartment. The van has an excellent solar and 12v system using exclusively Victron products with a solar panel, battery charger, solar controller, gel battery and sine wave 240v invertor. I bought the best 12v lighting I could find and ran extensive 12v circuits throughout. The van has a Salamander Hobbit wood burner professionally installed with black dipped flues. There is a storage system using baskets under the bed which I designed. There is lots of storage room in the back and in shelves above the lighting along the sides of the van. The van also has a top of the range Eberspacher diesel heater with its own exhaust system which works but has been barely used. I insulated the van with foil backed blankets in the roof and foil backed closed cell insulation stuck to the walls, with kingspan in the cavities. This keeps heat out when hot and in when cold. The van has an excellent hifi with vintage pioneeer speakers, a built in subwoofer and an excellent power amp. Any questions please ask.
