For sale is our much-loved 2002 VW T4 Bilbos 2.5 TDI 102BHP 5 speed manual camper van, in the stunning and rarer Surf Blue colour. She starts first time and always does and has never let us down. She also has 2 factory fitted seatbelts on the rock and roll bed so great for a family and she was originally a Caravelle so has windows all around the outside that were there from new. A professional conversion from a new by Bilbos in West Sussex (One of the best van conversion companies in the UK) who fitted a pop-top, rock and roll bed, fridge, sink with fresh and waste-water tanks, water pump which has been recently replaced, gas oven and hob, internal lighting, curtains, leisure battery with 12/240v split charge and captains chairs (for both driver and passenger), and specially made black out curtains for all of the windows. With just 110k on the clock, you will not find a better example of a classic VW Camper. The 2.5TDI engine remains one of the best engines made by VW at this time and at 102BHP has no problem pulling you up the steepest of hills or sitting comfortably on the motorway. (There were two versions of this engine, this van has the higher spec engine). There are 2 original pull out tables that come with the van. The van has a 12 month MOT until March 2022 which she sailed through. The bodywork is fantastic for a vehicle of this age, some very minor knocks as you would expect and can be seen in the pictures, the underside and sills are rust free. We also managed to spill a little chocolate on the seat (we will try and get this off) and there is a small rip in the back of the drivers chair.
