2012 VW Crafter race/camper van. Based south coast between Southampton and Bournemouth. This van had a full professional conversion in 2015 by Auckland Race Trux Ltd & has been finished to the highest standard. Its both a luxurious camper & perfect race van in one. A viewing is really needed to fully appreciate the quality. This also has the higher power engine of the two available for this year. The garage is spacious & can easily fit 2 x sports bikes or 3 x dirt bikes. There are two removable water storage units (not currently fitted but included) located in the garage over each wheel arch and are connected to an external hosepipe outlet on the exterior of the van, which a jet washer can be attached to/used from. The van has colour codes bumpers & trim, with new black wheel trims. There is also a reversing camera located above the rear doors, with a dedicated screen at the dashboard. Internally it has been finished in very high quality wood panelling cabinetry, the front seats & bench seat are finished in cream & brown leather, which look & feel fantastic. Theres one lap belt attached. There are many overhead & under cabinet lights, which are touch-sensitive. Additionally, there is blue mood lighting internally, which is very effective. There are two skylights that tilt or open fully. There is a TV located in the ceiling, which folds down when required, with an integrated free view & DVD/CD player. There are privacy curtains fitted for all of the windows & detachable windscreen & driver/passenger door insulated soft panels included, which provide both privacy & insulation at night. The double bed is located at the rear of the van, over the garage compartment & is very comfortable & has a removable ladder for easy access. There are also plenty of cupboards in the bedroom area for storage. In the kitchen area, there is a fridge/freezer, microwave, sink, 2 gas hobs & multiple cupboards of varying sizes for storage. There is a chemical toilet (very easy to maintain) & wet-room/shower (never used). The combi heating system provides both heating via a blown-air system, which is very effective & hot water for the sinks & shower. The vans facilities are powered by either the leisure battery, full electrical hook-up of gas (full canister in place & provided in sale). Both the driver & passenger seats swivel 180 degrees for social occasions and a removable table (included) can be utilised, which is positioned centrally in the van floor. There is also a full awning which attaches to the pull out awning. Included are the original user guides & help manuals for all appliances & heating system installed in the van. This is an exceptionally well converted & appointed van, which can be used as a race van or simply as a family camper.
