We were planning a couple European trips this year but having used it for a few short trips in the last few weeks we’ve decided we need something bigger 2 adults, 2 kids, 2 dogs and a wife that now wants a built-in shower and toilet! We’ve already spent a small fortune on it as honestly thought wed be driving it around for couple years, upgrading the sound system, installing a reverse camera, new mains run led smart tv, PlayStation 2 and games. We’ve replaced anything tired or broken including glass top to gas hob, cupboard catches, sink tap, new outside shower attachment (handy for rinsing dogs & children). Reupholstered the 3 front seats with new custom fitted leathers. Drives well, starts first time. Leisure battery is good, runs the 12v lighting and fridge for a couple days without mains hookup, havent tested it for longer than that. Fridge/freezer works really well, even the little freezer keeps ice well. Theres a 12v lighting system as well as 240v mains lights including a floodlight that faces the awning area. 3 seats in front and 2 in the back all with belts. 4 berth including the pop up, but we would put a camp bed in the awning area. Twin gas hob with small gas storage compartment in rear. Water pump works well which runs off the 12v leisure battery for the sink and rear shower attachment. Theres a collapsible dining table for the living area. The conversion must be a few years old hence the bogie green leather rocker bed, but its undamaged and comfortable. Lots of storage cupboards and a good sized onboard water tank which serves the sink and rear shower. Faults: handbrake leaver slightly bent so pushes against passenger seat a bit when fully lifted but works absolutely fine. Surface and underside rust as expected for the age of the van. Surface damage to the rear bumper which has been crudely painted. Small rips in fly net in the pop up area but this doesnt affect the waterproofness of the pop up area when windows are zipped shut. Theres an untested solar panel on the roof but I think this needs replacing as probably installed at time of conversion which must have been years ago. Theres a brake warning light thats just come on but I think this is a sensor fail as the van was recently serviced.
