This is the bush that the gearbox lever (bottom ball) goes through of the top mount hole/flange of the gear box allowing the ball end bottom of the gear lever to locate/sit in the selector hole. The gear lever pivots and is held in place by this bush/rubber Was a nightmare to find one when ours broke up (after 20yrs). Gear-lever was sloppy and ball end kept falling out of the gate making gear selection very awkward Found one and bought it, – along with one for Ron (later on) -so a this is/was a new spare. WHEEL HUB BEARING CAP This is the tap on metal cap that fits over the axle nut / bearing housing that taps about. 5 – 1cm into the housing to keep the dust and crap out of the bearing, they are a pain to get off – normally a set of mole grips is best – these have indentations from these on either side, but are still circular at their base and a cm up still fit fine. AA man came to house said it was this sensor he earthed the contact and it started- so we bought one broke open the sealed bag it was in, fitted it and hey presto same thing happened.. Got it to Reno and it turned out to be the coil pack -which it actually/really was. Nothing wrong with the sensor the AA man hadn’t double checked it -it was just coincidence the’wait time’ had elapsed when he checked the sensor since it last cut out! But as the sealed bag had been opened reno wouldn’t take it back! And I cannot therefore be held accountable for any fitment errors! Can post or cash on collection.
